What is ChildNet?
ChildNet is a course that lays the foundation for operating a home childcare
business. It consists of ten, 2½ hour
classes.
Experienced trainers will help you understand and create sound and ethical
business practices; appropriate activities, routines, and guidance; nutrition;
health and safety precautions; human relations and effective communication.
It is recommended that home providers complete a Just the Facts class before
taking ChildNet, and complete the ChildNet series before taking
Beyond Business Basics.
Throughout the series, you will receive materials that support your
business, so it is
important to pre-register so we have enough. To register, please call
the contact number listed for each series.
Pre-registration is required
for all classes
You should not begin after the second class of a ChildNet series, but you may
make up a class in another location. Payment is due
10 days prior to the first class. Guests, including children, are not
allowed in class. If you require special accommodations such as an interpreter,
please contact the person taking registrations so she can make arrangements.
Please be respectful and cancel your
reservation if you cannot attend, so people on the waiting list can take your place.
Refunds will not be given unless CCR&R cancels the class. Closing time of all classes is approximate.
