Child care and education professionals are greatly responsible for meeting the nutritional needs of children. The links below will help you serve healthy meals and snacks and ways to help the children enjoy exercise.

Healthy Roads website contains free audio, written and multimedia health education materials in a number of languages.

American Dietetic Association

Child and Adult Care Food Program is a federal program that provides nutrition education and partial reimbursement of food costs to many child care and education programs. Click here for a list of CACFP sponsors in your area.

You can search a database of recipes submitted by nutrition and health professionals and organizations. You may also find recipes by cost, equipment needed, ethnicity, menu item and more!

Team Nutrition is a  program that encourages children and adolescents to make positive food and physical activity choices for a healthy lifestyle.

Breastfeeding is the best food you can offer your baby. This site answers many of the questions you and caregivers might have.
