Beyond Autism

Bright Futures serves to promote and improve the health, education, and well-being of children and adolescents 0-21 and their families. A good source for many health subjects.

Picture Schedules offers information on improving communication with children through use of picture schedules. It offers 350 free picture cards to download to make creating communication tools and schedules easy. Pictures can offer needed structure and reduced stress for children.

Tinsnips is a great resource for working with children who benefit from using structure and pictures.  Scroll down this page to find the “Schedule Cards”.  From the home page you can also access picture cooking recipes.

MyPyramid is a site where teachers can find classroom materials, including lesson plans, an interactive game, and a MyPyramid for Kids Poster.
