Data tells the story

Child Care Resource and Referral collects information from parents looking for childcare and education programs and child care and education professionals who work in those programs. The chart above illustrates that in the spring of 2003, 50% of Union county preschoolers were in non-registered child care. This compares to 60% statewide. In the fall of 1998, 78% of Union county preschoolers were in non-registered child care.
